The Process of Transformation

Farewell, Salzburg & What’s Next

On a personal note, I just want to send a huge, huge thank you to all of you—especially everyone I’ve met since February when I started officially teaching here in Salzburg. Thank you for letting me share my perspective and for trusting me to guide you through my own experiences with the physical body and what it can do for us.

I really, really appreciate all the time, effort, and energy you guys put into showing up regularly and sticking with the practice. Nowadays, it’s so easy to just neglect something like a twice-a-week class, but you guys kept showing up, doing the work, and sharing your thoughts directly with me. I’ve felt super honored every single time you walked into class.

Seeing your evolution over these months has been amazing—just hearing how much more comfortable, strong, and grounded you feel physically. But honestly, to be real with you guys, the biggest win for me is just seeing your interest in the body. Watching you get curious—or seeing your curiosity deepen—around this weird machine we inhabit and live inside of, that is everything to me. It’s the biggest win ever to see people realize how special this thing we carry around actually is.

So yeah, this is a bit of a farewell to my regular in-person classes here in Salzburg, but through this newsletter, we’re going to keep the line alive. Moving forward, this newsletter / email list will be our ONLY channel for direct communication. If you want to stay in the loop and continue training together, staying subscribed here is how we stay connected.

Here is where we’re heading next and how we can keep working together:

The Transition to "Physical Conditioning" & Our Schedule Poll

We are officially evolving our group sessions from "Mobility" into Physical Conditioning.

What’s Changing:

This shift gives me much more freedom to address specific target areas of the body, focus on unique goals, and bring a stronger educational flavor to our training. We’ll run these in focused modules with specific themes so we can go in-depth and build a deeper understanding of your movement and physicality.

What Stays the Same:

My core philosophy remains unchanged. We will continue to build your overall physical understanding and conditioning. Every class will be carefully curated so you can follow along from home with minimal space (just like in the studio) or anywhere else in the world.

Coaching from South America:

I will be coaching you from the other side of the world in South America! All scheduled class times will be displayed in Central European Time (CET). While I will stay as consistent as possible, please keep in mind there might be some time frame restrictions due to time differences.

Help Me Design the Schedule (1-Minute Poll):

Before I officially launch the new schedule and pricing details, I want to hear from you first! I’ve created a quick poll where you can vote on 1 or 2 classes per week (note: at least one class will definitely fall on the weekend), pick your preferred days/times, and leave your requests for specific body areas, topics, or intensity levels.

Only votes that are sent before the 5th of November will be taken in consideration, after that date the poll will self-destruct!

So please fill it in ASAP

Note: Filling out the poll places you under no pressure or financial commitment—I will contact you with the upcoming info, block payment packs, and pricing options afterwards ASAP once I’ve reviewed your feedback.

1-on-1 Coaching

If you have something specific you want to tackle—whether it’s handstands, acrobatic skills, specific strength work, or just addressing your own physical blocks—you can sign up for 1-on-1 coaching.

How to do it:

Just go to my landing page and fill out the short form on my website. I’ll get back to you directly and we’ll take it from there.

The Dance Module

A quick update on the dance module: it was delayed, but it will be happening later this year, and I’ll keep you updated right here in the newsletter.

What it’s actually about:

Just like anything I teach, it’s not about "dancing" in a traditional sense—it’s just me sharing tools to help you get more comfortable exploring your body in an expressive way. It is 100% directed at people who have zero or negative experience with dance. It’s about learning to listen to music, connecting to rhythm, and broadening your movement vocabulary. So if you’re shy about it, please don’t be—it’s just another format for me to pass on the exact same work we’ve been doing.

Thank you for everything, Salzburg. You guys are very special, and as I’ve told many of you in person: you’re all absolute legends.

Alright guys, now let's head into the proper issue for this week...

Stepping Into the Unknown

We often tend to talk about transformation as if it’s this clean, dramatic moment. We imagine waking up, having a sudden breakthrough, and consciously choosing a completely new life.

In reality, it usually doesn't work like that.

Transformation often starts quietly, almost accidentally. A single part of you—maybe just one voice among many—decides it wants something different. It takes the spotlight for a second and makes a move. But that doesn't mean all of you is on board. You still have all these other internal voices, habits, and scripts pulling in different directions.

Without bringing those parts together, we end up just cycling through familiar patterns. We swap one habit for another, change the setup, but keep running the exact same internal mechanisms under a different name.

To step into actual transformation simply means choosing to step out of that loop. It means stepping into a space where you don't have all the answers, where things feel a bit blank, and where your old ways of organizing your world don't really work anymore.

The Daily Friction & The Escape Trap

This process isn't necessarily pretty or comfortable, and it certainly isn't a shortcut to a happier state. A lot of the time, it just feels confusing. You find yourself asking: Why am I even doing this? What’s the point?

When you enter this kind of space, your analytical mind starts commenting on everything. It wants to evaluate every step, judge whether you're succeeding, or tell you what will bring you safety, money, or approval.

Because we dislike that confusion, we often look for big, shiny disruptions. We think transformation means we need to change our name, move to another country, run off to Sri Lanka, or slam our bodies through an Ironman just to prove a point and make it look dramatic.

But those extreme moves are often just another way of escaping the real work. You change the scenery, but your relationships are still messy, your finances are still out of order, and your old internal scripts follow you right there.

Real transformation happens in life as it is right now. It doesn't mean dropping out of reality—it happens in the mundane. You still have to pay taxes, manage your work, pay your bills, and navigate relationships. The real friction is right there: sitting through a completely regular life as an ordinary person, dealing with daily conflicts and responsibilities, while staying committed to an internal process that nobody else can see or validate for you.

Eyes Wide Open

To navigate this daily friction without running away, you often have to operate on a simple principle: fake it until you make it. You act, you move, and you let yourself be shaped by the process before you fully understand it.

And you do it with your eyes wide open.

We chase dramatic escapes because we keep our eyes closed to what's right in front of us. But if you choose to stay in this unknown, unexplainable process with your eyes fully open at every second—noticing every release, every conflict, and every subtle shift without checking out or making a show of it—you start to figure out the whole game.

Just reaching a point where you refuse to close your eyes, where you refuse to simply fall back on old habits when daily life gets uncomfortable, is extremely difficult in itself. That, in its purest form, is the work.

There is no moral superiority here. There is no "right" or "wrong" path, and this isn't about being "ready" while others aren't. Everyone has their own timeline, and choosing not to engage in this kind of internal work is completely fine.

If you do choose to step into this, people around you might not understand what you're doing. You won't have a neat, logical story to give them because you don't fully know how it will unfold either. Transformation is simply the willingness to live with those choices, to hold that daily friction, and to keep your eyes open as an old pattern fades out and a new one takes shape.

Soft Provocations for Your Practice

A few direct questions to sit with before your next session or practice:

  • Where are you looking for guarantees? Are you holding off on a decision because you can't see the exact outcome yet?
  • Is your analytical mind trying to control the process? When you try something new, are you observing what happens, or immediately judging it as good or bad?
  • What are you choosing to live with? Recognizing that every choice comes with friction, which friction are you actually willing to carry?

Journaling Questions: Reporting on Your Inner Reality

Copy and paste these direct questions into your journal to reflect honestly on where you are:

  1. What familiar habit or routine am I repeating simply because it's comfortable?
  2. What story or justification do I use when I feel lost or out of control?
  3. Where am I looking for outside approval instead of just owning my choice?
  4. How do I usually react when the people around me don't understand what I'm doing?
  5. What is one small way I can stay present with uncertainty in my daily life today?
